Michael Bauer has been coordinating, directing and guiding tours and educational seminars for 22 years. Michael specializes in Geopolitical Tours and developed seminars and workshops that deal with topics as: Israeli Arab relationship, Israel's minorities, Israel’s borders and neighbors, Middle East politics and Israel Advocacy. As a field Educator and tour guide, Michael has been working with groups of both Israelis and foreigners from all over the world. He has led adventure tours around the country, in Jordan, the Sinai and Turkey, as well as educational programs in Poland and Germany.
Michael teaches Middle East History in several Pre Army institutes and provides briefings, lectures and seminars around the country and in North America. Michael had the privilege of guiding and briefing: Senators and Parliament members from around the world, Celebrities from the entertainment industry, University students, Faculty members and presidents of several universities as Harvard, Colombia, Johns Hopkins and many more. Michael was on several speaking tours across North America including the Harvard Kennedy School and the Canadian Parliament.
Like many Israelis, the military was an integral part of his life; Michael served as a commander in the paratroop forces for 3 years as his mandatory service and for many years on his reserve duties.
Michael Bauer spent two years on the west coast of the United States where he worked for the Jewish Agency, writing, creating and running educational programs and projects related to Israel.
Michael is married and has five children. He lives on Kibbutz Bet Guvrin.
